Hip Pain
Any pain around the hip joint is known as hip pain. Hip pain also involves the groin and thigh region. You will feel the sensation of pain or discomfort, stiffness, tenderness and swelling around these areas. The most common causes of hip pain are osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fracture, and osteoporosis due to old age.
Pelvic Pain
Pelvic pain is a sign of infection or other problems. Pelvic pain refers to symptoms of other problems like reproductive, digestive, or urinary tract infection. Pelvic pain also occurs due to muscle spasms in the pelvic region.
Knee Pain
Knee pain is pain around the knee joint. It can affect people of all ages but is common in old age. Knee pain can be due to injury, ruptured ligament, meniscal tear or torn cartilage. In old age, causes of knee pain are degenerative changes, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis. The common cause of knee pain in young is chondromalacia patella (irritation of knee cartilage).
Ankle Pain
Ankle Pain or discomfort in the ankle joint is called ankle pain. Ankle pain can be sharp, shooting or dull ache pain. Ankle pain can be due to sprain, strain and injury. The most common cause of ankle pain is Achilles tendonitis that is inflammation of the Achilles tendon. Arthritis, gout, bursitis and flat feet are other causes of ankle pain.
Foot Pain
Any discomfort or sensation of pain in the foot region is called foot pain. Foot pain can be due to injury of the foot’s structure. Also, foot pain can occur due to plantar fasciitis (inflammation of plantar fascia), heel spurs, diabetic neuropathy, athlete’s foot (due to walking in the damp area) and blisters etc.
